About The Founder/CEO & "Head Coach"
Josef Durand - Founder/CEO & Head Admissions/SAT Coach
Josef Durand is a graduate of Harvard University with a degree in Psychology and over a decade of professional experience as an admissions coach and tutor. He specializes in hyper-competitive applications, including those to Ivy League institutions, BS/MD programs (for aspiring doctors), Stanford, MIT, and others. Getting students into Top 20/50/100 schools is almost too easy for him.
Josef's coaching journey began in middle school, where he started tutoring his younger sister and mentoring other students, both older and younger. Over time, he integrated coaching techniques from his state- and nationally-recognized football coaches, many of whom have advanced to the collegiate (NCAA) and professional (NFL) levels. He has been teaching and tutoring SAT, ACT, and AP professionally for 11 years and unofficially since he was 13 years old (20+ years of total test prep experience).
Josef's recent coaching successes include teaching Chinese students how to successfully score above 1500 on the SAT as well as helping students in Beijing get accepted to prestigious institutions like Harvard University, Yale University, Princeton University, Dartmouth College, Columbia University, Brown University, the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, Stanford University, and MIT. His next mission? Your admission!

Louis Leonidas is a Harvard grad and storytelling aficionado who has traveled to over 40 countries as well as lived in China, India, Saudi Arabia, Colombia, and Thailand, to name a few. He has over 8 years helping students get into top universities and reflect on their lives to craft narratives that inspire them beyond university. Plus, he has stories for days, so he can help you tell yours!
